Period pains

Hey peeps! I've heard that drinking dandelion tea (urgh) is good if you have cramps-(urgh, but good for you!) Also a hot water bottle helps, and rubbing your stomach with circular motions. For school (where for obvious reasons, a hot water bottle is impracticle!) rub some deep heat cream/spray on your stomach-it helps really! Headaches are common as well, an aspirin usually gets rid of them...erm...what elsel... Also things like waxing are not a good idea while you're on your period as your nerve endings are more sensitive to pain (i'm trying to remember all the always ads here, and everything else i've ever heard about periods etc.) Your body temp will increase, so wear lighter clothes. Your period is a good time to start a diet or detox, as you don't get as many cravings. Your skin might get oilier and you might have a few breakouts, so you should take extra good care of your skin while you're on. Use skin blotting paper to absorb grease, and treat your skin to a deep pore cleansing face pack-a great one is Clean and Clear colour changing mask. Also keep facial wipes with you and keep cleansing your face regularly. So there you have it-how to feel great, and look gorge while you're on your period!

If you have really bad period pains, you could try going on the pill. Talk to your doctor about it...you will have lighter, virtually painless, and regular periods. The pill can also be good for your skin, if you have spots. Good luck, and happy birthday to your bro!

Actually...my period isnt all that bad for me....If you just take a nice, long, relaxing BATH (ofcourse, not shower) then you should be good for the day....but ive had days where I couldnt bear the pain....but yea, hot water on the stomach mite work too and the tea thing....(i need to try those tho) but anyways, yea, so thats what helps me out a lot.

Excuse me, I dont believe you mentioned using a tampon or sanitary towel!!Putting dandelion tea in your groin will fail to help this, let alone rubbing in a circular motion!! Your advice is poo.

Since when have tampons been a cure for period pain? I'm talking about how to look and feel good when you're on your period, and while a comfortable tampon can help, that isn't really what we're talking about here.
